Archaeologist

Ms. Adair serves as Cogstone’s Vice President of Marketing using her 11 years of experience as a qualified archaeologist and cross-trained paleontologist to prepare scope and cost proposals in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. She is knowledgeable of the regulatory requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). Ms. Adair prioritizes preparing detailed, thoughtful proposal responses with an emphasis on quick turnaround times for clients. Her archaeological experience includes pedestrian survey, monitoring, excavation and burial recovery, as well as the identification of human and faunal skeletal remains. She has authored cultural resources reports for a variety of federal, state, and local agencies throughout California and the eastern United States. Ms. Adair was previously responsible for the organization of field data, supervision, as well as identifying and cataloging prehistoric and historic artifacts and continues to provide expertise in these areas. She also has experience with preparing artifact collections for curation at a variety of different repositories throughout California and the eastern United States.
