Lab Manager and Supervisor II

Ms. Sharp is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) and cross-trained paleontologist with over nine years of experience in cultural and paleontological resources monitoring, survey, excavation, preparation of fossils and artifacts for curation, as well as screening and sorting sediments for artifacts and fossils. She worked as a collections assistant processing recovered paleontological finds at the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum in Los Angeles. Ms. Sharp served as an interpretive and curatorial collections volunteer at the Vertebrate Paleontology Department and Dinosaur Institute at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles as well as an archaeological and ethnographic objects conservation intern at UCLA’s Fowler Museum. She has worked on a variety of projects at Cogstone in the water, transportation, energy, development, public, and private sectors. For these projects Ms. Sharp has served as a primary point of contact for the client, created and managed schedules, conducted crew sensitivity trainings, as well as authored relevant reports.
